I had a wonderful experience at Oxana Salon! Jonathan did an amazing job with my haircut. From the moment I sat down, he made me feel comfortable by keeping the conversation going and creating such a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. I really appreciated how easy he was to talk to.

I have very thick hair, which can be challenging to work with, but Jonathan handled it with confidence and skill. He listened to what I wanted, gave me a haircut that suits me perfectly, and made my hair feel lighter, healthier, and so much easier to style. I left feeling confident and so happy with the results.

I highly recommend Jonathan to anyone looking for a talented stylist who truly cares about his clients. I’ll definitely be coming back

Let me just start out by saying my stylist was very nice but she absolutely destroyed my hair. I have naturally curly hair and I booked for a perm and cut. I wanted the perm to make my natural curls more uniform and more beach waves look. We agreed on a shorter bob but the cut came out so incredibly blunt and extremely extremely short, it’s a pixie cut in my opinion. The perm itself looks horrendous, some pieces straight and some pieces extremely curly even though she did use the biggest rods. I could tell as soon as she started styling it she does not have much experience in textured hair despite having textured hair as one of her specialties online. At the point I don’t know if my hair feels gross from chemical damage or from using way too much curl crème. I was so excited for this appointment just for my hair to come out looking terrible. I’ve literally never had a stylist destroy my hair like this before and it’s devastating. She offered for me to come back in 2 week for a revision, which was kind of her, but she already destroyed my hair, I’m not going to give her the chance to damage it even further. Hopefully once I’m able to wash my hair I’ll at least be able to blow it out and make it looks somewhat presentable.

Carissa absolutely saved me—and my hair! She truly gave me my confidence back.

I recently moved to Nashville from New Jersey and decided I wanted to go from blonde to brunette. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of using the Kristen Ess Chocolate Cosmo hair gloss at home and it turned my hair red and splotchy. I called Oxana Salon in a panic on my first weekend in town (October 2025) and asked if anyone could squeeze me in before my first day at my new job.

Carissa stepped in and immediately put me at ease. Over the last several months I’ve gone back to her multiple times, and she’s always been honest and realistic about the process while helping me work toward my goal of going blonde again.

In March 2026 she did a massive color correction and absolutely nailed it. I LOVE my hair and feel so good about myself again. On top of that, she’s just wonderful to spend time with—witty, kind, and genuinely caring. I’m so grateful I found her!
