Was referred by a friend... We're not friends anymore. Just kidding! But honestly, the issues started as soon as the job was "bid." I say "bid" because the project manager who "bid it" has never stepped foot on the property. He instead attached a Google Earth image of "my house" to the work order. Again, I use quotes because he used the wrong address. The guys showing up (after getting lost) to install the two mini splits, re-plumb the entire house, and install the new water heater were expecting a gutted double wide trailer, but instead found a gutted two story home that is admittedly peculiar. When the head plumber mentioned an adjustment to the agreed upon price, I pointed out that I felt it unfair as the price was previously agreed upon and that the PM should have put eyes on the job first (did not even from him until the job was almost complete and it was for payment). At this point, I didn't think corners would be cut, but the mistake would be admitted and I would still receive the quality expected from a reputable company like Hiller. Unfortunately, this is not at all what happened. After work was completed, I made payment remotely as I was traveling for work and then a funeral and am not yet living in the home. Upon my return, I discovered that neither toilet, the one sink that was there at the time, nor the downstairs shower were hooked up. Being handy and appreciative that the house was getting closer to being livable, I made a list and went to Lowes to get the necessary connections to hook everything up. After making the connections, I went under the house to turn the water on. What I discovered shocked me to my core. I probably stood there in silence for 10 minutes just staring at the atrocity that can be seen in the attached photos. The water pipes are hanging like a giant spider web, held in place by nothing more than the tension created by passing through the floor, and in some areas, by hanging on electrical wires that pass through the floor joist. No c clamps, no straps, no pride in the work. Also, the main waste pipe is leaking. I contacted the branch manager 5 days ago to inform of the problem/provide pictures and ask when they would be back to do the job right and have yet to hear back. After spending tens of thousands of dollars, I am still left with a house with unusable water (again, leaking waste pipe and hanging on electrical wire) and unless they step up to right their wrong I will have to miss work to repair it myself as I cannot afford to pay for the same job twice.
On a positive note, the HVAC guys did a great job and were a pleasure to have around.

P.S. If memory serves me correctly, I could count on one hand the number of reviews I've ever written and none of them were negative. If you've made it this far into the review, please save yourself the trouble and get the job right the first time.

We have an older home, so we need experienced contractors. We have taken a chance on lower cost big box retail contractors and Thumbtack, but paid the price later in shoddy work or extensive cleanup.

We have had multiple services (mostly HVAC and Plumbing) with Hiller since around 2013. I can say every person I've met is respectful of our property and knowledgeable about their trade. No one is ever pushy or tries to sell something we don't need. Steve is one of our favorite plumbers, as he finds and fixes the problem quickly and always seems to be upbeat.

We had a water heater bust a few years ago, and he not only fixed it, but also educated my boys while installing. Some contractors don't like you watching them work, but he seemed to have fun with it. That let me know he is confident in his trade and people skills.

We recently needed a toilet replacement, and we requested Steve again. He gave me several options that fit our budget. Although we decided to purchase our own toilet this time due to disability needs (higher height toilet), he and his partner Luis installed it very quickly and respected our property.

We are thankful for Hiller hiring reliable and respectful contractors!

I had an outstanding experience with Reagan Ridley from Hiller! From the moment he arrived, he was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely interested in finding the best solution—not the most expensive one.

Reagan took the time to troubleshoot my HVAC unit with me instead of immediately recommending unnecessary repairs or replacements. He carefully explained what he was checking, answered all of my questions, and worked diligently to identify the root cause of the issue. I especially appreciated that he was mindful of keeping the repair as minimal and cost-effective as possible while ensuring the system was operating properly.

One of the unexpected highlights of the visit was simply getting to talk with Reagan while he worked. As a Nashville native, which is almost like spotting a unicorn these days, we had a great conversation about the city, how much it has changed over the years, and our shared appreciation for the community. It made the entire service call feel more personal and enjoyable.

It's refreshing to work with a technician who values honesty, integrity, and customer service as much as technical expertise. Reagan made me feel like he was looking out for my best interests, and that level of professionalism is becoming increasingly rare.

I highly recommend Reagan Ridley to anyone needing HVAC service. Hiller is fortunate to have someone of his caliber representing the company. Thank you, Reagan, for taking the time to do the job right, putting the customer first, and reminding me that there are still a few Nashville unicorns out there!
