Summer Ann was very friendly and efficient as a stylist. She asked what my goal was as it relates to my styling appointment and offered valuable suggestions and advice to achieve my goal. She was professional as she did partial highlights, a cut and blow dry. Overall, my experience with her was excellent and I plan on returning to Element Salon!

I seriously cannot recommend Summer Ann enough!! I started seeing her when I first moved to Nashville about a year ago, and from my very first appointment she made me feel so welcome. Moving somewhere new can be overwhelming, and finding someone you trust with your hair is not easy, but she immediately made me feel comfortable and like I'd been going to her forever.

Every appointment is something I genuinely look forward to because it's so much more than just getting my hair done. Summer is so easy to talk to, so fun to be around, and she always takes the time to make sure she understands exactly what I want. Somehow, she always makes my hair turn out even better than I imagined. I leave every single appointment feeling so confident and beautiful.

I've recommended her to multiple friends over the past year, and every one of them has ended up loving her just as much as I do. That's honestly the biggest testament to how amazing she is. She's incredibly talented, so knowledgeable, and you can tell she genuinely cares about every single person who sits in her chair.

She is the sweetest person, so talented at what she does, and truly makes every visit feel like such a great experience. I'm so thankful I found her when I moved here because I honestly can't imagine going to anyone else. She's the best!!

I scheduled my hair appointment with Summer one month in advance. At the time of booking online, the total price for color and haircut was listed as $260. During the week of the appointment, I received a “contract” stating $330. When I arrived, I was told the total would be $350, and in the end, I was charged $430.

I would not have minded paying even $1,000 if the service had been delivered as requested, or at least something close to what I asked for. Unfortunately, that was not the case.

I left the salon in tears. No postpartum woman deserves to go through an experience like this. I went in hoping to leave feeling confident and loving myself, and now I can barely look at myself in the mirror.

What I asked for was a blonde color with brighter front pieces and lighter ends, in a champagne tone. What I got is barely noticeable, with a golden tone very similar to my natural hair color — completely different from what I showed in the reference photos. The front pieces are lighter, but uneven and patchy.

When I expressed that I was unhappy with the result, I was told I would need to come back in 8 weeks and book another appointment with more time — meaning I would likely have to pay another $500 or more to fix something that was not done correctly in the first place.

I will be attaching photos of what I asked for and how my hair actually turned out.
